Eye to Eye With The Wild

On 5th March 2020, DUP4 students had a trip to Gambang Safari Park, which is the largest safari park in Malaysia. It was located at Bukit Gambang Resort City, 26300, Kuantan. The purpose of this field trip is to give an exposure to the students on indulging in interpretation services, for example as a zoo guider. We were warmly welcomed by the guide of safari park as soon as we arrive. The guide didn't take much time on handling our tickets and had us a photograph session as before we enter the safari park.

Map of Gambang Safari Park
For your information, the safari park consists of 6 main districts to be explored, Simba Hill, Night Jungle, Foreign Village, Forest Land, Land of predators and Wild Savannah. Unfortunately, there were two was being closed for refurbishment and upgrading. We were been given the opportunity to feed the farm animals such as goat and rabbit. It was chaos since some of us were quite scared with those " aggressive" animals!

Vibing with Rumah Kampung
This place was quite huge with concrete blocks and it was quite exhausting going around the safari park by walking. For those who doesn't fit enough, I recommended you guys on taking the tram services to watch those animals! We also being entertained with Multi-Animal Show consists of trained animals on doing a show for the visitors.

Enjoyed Multi-Animal Show!
For the night, we being entertained by the African Yabara Fire Show! It was so cool and jaw-dropping performance. I really do give the performers credits in commited present the show for us even it's not that many visitors and furthermore it was about to rain during the night. Yet they manged to provide us a great performance!

African Yabara Fire Show
This safari park is very suitable for the animal lovers and family trip to fill up their free time during holidays. In my personal view, it also could be an informal education for the kids in getting close with the animals without barriers!
